A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor’s book. ~ Irish Proverb

This is a picture story about how to rest, which is something I need to do right now. I haven’t quite been myself since my return from England, but I kept on pushing myself to be productive.  After all, not only were there posts to do, but there was tons of laundry, bills, and other things to catch up on.

The problem is that I can’t quite get the energy to do them. The combination of jet lag and a slight cold have made me feel like I’m walking through peanut butter and without much success.

Then as I was watching Aggie sleep in my office, I realized I had hit the wall. I needed to do as Aggie and take time to rest.

Sleeping Pictures.

Therefore, this post is about the importance of rest and I’m letting these sleeping pictures of my co-workers, Miss Dix and Aggie, show you how it’s done. They are experts at resting:~)

Comments WILL be closed because I’m also taking Monday off…to rest and recuperate.

p.s.  This time they will really are closed:~)

Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. ~ Leonardo DaVinci

Sometimes the most urgent thing you can possibly do is take a complete rest. ~ Ashleigh Brilliant

Animals do teach us the most wonderful things; they know when to work, when to play and when to rest! Hopefully, I’ll be up and running again soon:~)
