I’m lazy
It’s an absolutely beautiful day where I’m at. The sun is out and it’s almost warm.
Now, I’m not trying to make those of you shoveling a new pile of snow off your walkway jealous, but this is the kind of day that hollers, “Come outside.”
It’s the kind of day that begs you to play and well, I like to play:~)
So, I’m putting up this post and then I’m playing hooky the rest of the day!

Enjoy the day, Sara! It would be a crime not to!
Picture A made me laugh. It reminded me instantly of spies pretending to be tourists.
“Do you see them?” Agent 33 is annoyed. They have already wasted too much time on the pier.
“No.” Agent 87 adjusts the focus on his camera. Is that a girl in a bikini? Yes, it IS a hot girl in a bikini.
In the next frame (which can’t be shown for security reasons), Agent 33 smacks Agent 87 up the back of his head.

@ talon — I’m taking a break from playing hooky. I sat in the sun and now I think I’m a bit burned. The breeze is still cool and so it’s easy to forget that the sun still burns:~)
I thought exactly the same thing when I took this picture. I am so pleased that’s what you saw too! What a cute write up. It made me laugh. I love the scene not seen:~)
Sara
Picture A
I chose this pucture because I’m in the construction industry and I know that the three objects are “Excavator buckets” and the bits on the end of the buckets are called teeth… I also know that the object in the background is a bicycle. LOL
Q – Look at me you three, which one of you ate the bicycle rider.
A – The bucket on the right… the one with the big teeth.
Makes me smile.

@ Keith — Very clever and fitting for that picture:~)
Picture B. Who are these people? The count and countess, recently run into a spate of bad luck, yacht foreclosed, experiencing what it’s like to travel with the commoners. “Dahling, you must look at this. I never knew one could get so very close to the water. Indeed, I think I see a fish!”
Have a blast today Sara!
.-= Patty – Why Not Start Now?´s last blog ..Meaning Mondays: The Big Rabbit Edition =-.
@ Patty — LOL…I like the idea of them being a count and countess having difficult times…the economy makes us equals at times! My favorite is “Indeed, I think I see a fish!”
Picture C
Two sisters are supposed to be going to sleep.
Q: Mom, Mom make her stop it – Can’t you make her stop it? She will not stop singing itsy bitsy spider and making spiders crawl up the curtains. Can’t you make her stop?
A: Okay boys! I am calling a halt on all the singing and hand play action for one of you and asking the other to please ignore it and not rise to the occasion.
Don’t you miss those little things now…? but you were oh so tired then…

@ Patricia — I love this answer. I didn’t even think about the hands looking like they were playing the “itsy bitsy spider,” but it does look that way. Yes, I miss those times with my kids. I used to love it when they’d play dress up:~)
Hi Sara.
Glad to hear your weather has improved.
My focus is on Picture A.
Q: What is the Big Bucket telling the other two?
A: “Some days you feel you can move a mountain, while other days, it takes 3 of you just to move a mountain biker.”

@ Davina — Great question and answer. Perhaps they’ve been partying a bit too much:~)
Hi Sara!
Picture A– the shovels say, “Hey, Girl’s Bike, how come you never talk to us?” Girl’s Bike says prettily, “Because I can’t get a word in edgewise with you three bigmouths around!”
.-= Fireblossom32´s last blog ..Treats =-.
@ Shay — I like the imagery of the shovels being macho men with big mouths (very appropriate as to how they look) and the girl bike putting them in their place:~)
Picture C:
Q: Why do things appear to be just outside of my grasp. I see shadows of them; but can’t seem to get what I want.
A: When you begin feeling worthy, truly worthy, the shadows will turn to light and the thing you want most will be standing right in front of you.
@ Alex — Very clever answer using the picture! I can see the hands reaching and I like your answer very much:~)
Hi Sara .. took me a while to think … or be ready to think probably …
Picture A) I’ve got three big teeth, you’ve got 3 medium teeth and you’ve got five orangey ones .. my big ones do the hot ashes, your orangey ones do the iron oxides .. and your middley one does the rubbish in between.
Picture B) No – I didn’t want to go out with you today .. I’ll have my drink anyway .. you keep watching your birds …
Picture C) Silhouettes – whose hands are they anyway? What can you make? A duck? This was a game my father played with us – a flickering candle, a sheet, and his hands being turned into something … we had to guess … can’t find info on it though & can’t remember!!!

@ Hilary — I’m pleased that you had to think about this one because I liked your answers very much:~)
I know, I never strictly follow the rules of these contests, but I’m guessing the placement of the bulldozer shovels (which, according to my uneducated guess, is the name for that part of the bulldozer) within the white zone is a form of modern art protesting construction or something like that.
Pic A) What is the theme song for this image?
Transformers! More than meets the eye!
Transformers! Sittin’, askin’, “Why,
Must we sit around like great big lumps
Of useless metal chunks of nuthin’?
What a con!”
You see, they’re geriatric Autobots who have forgotten how to transform. Even Bicylclicon sniffs down its handlebars at them!
Pic B) What does Alfred Hitchcock see that’s so interesting?
A whole army of birds just waiting for him out of camera shot.
ALFRED: (To Megan Fox) Hey, young missy, you might wanna call up that director chummy of yours… what’s his name? Mikey Bay or sumthin’? Anyway, I’ve got a job for him and his robot chummies…”
Pic C) What’s Alfred doing now?
He’s taking matters into his own hands.
Why? Because Michael Bay sent him a bunch of geriatric Autobots that were of absolutely no use to him. All that ended up happening was the birds perching and pooing on them with breathtaking impertinence. Impotent, all the geriatric Autobots could do was continue to sit there. And the birds continued to stare menacingly at Alfred with their cold, dead eyes, causing him to lose sleep.
So he took matters into his own hands. He’s creeping up on Big Bird (who is the King of All Birds) while he’s asleep. When he smothers Big Bird with a pillow then Alfred Hitchcock will become the new King of All Birds and rule the world with a clenched feather!

@ Tony — You are so entertaining to have around:~)
Picture A: I love what you said about the transformers (JC loves those movies and so, he’ll appreciate this!)
Picture B: I am so pleased you thought of Alfred Hitchcock! When I took the picture, that what this couple reminded me of…only they were the bad guys!
Picture C: I like that your questions and answers have a theme — Transformers and Hitchcock. I can see Hitchcock holding up a Big Bird feather or better yet, his profile with the feather on his head. You are very creative:~)
Picking picture C……stop your harping!!
@ Ken — hmm…interesting, Dr. Watson:~)
Oh what fun, Sara,
I’m with Keith on this one. We’re in the excavation business so I know all about excavator buckets and “teeth”.
The three buckets are sitting around and the smaller ones are saying, “Hey Big Daddy, do you think we can stop collecting unemployment and go back to work?” Big Daddy says, “I can dig on that. It’s been way too long since I sunk my teeth into that delicious dirt”.
And Mamma bucket (the one in the middle) says, “I hear you. Sitting around doing nothing is starting to show my rust. If we don’t get work soon, I’ll have to get a paint job and find a new home where I’ll be appreciated and used.”
But the word on the street is the economy is turning around and the bucket family will be able to stay together, forever.
Do you dig it?

@ Barbara — I can, and do, DIG it:~)
