The Most Famous Investor

I say…
Nature is the most famous investor in the world.
She’s been at it a lot longer than Warren Buffett.
With an uncanny gift, she senses the chill of a “bare” market,
But smartly uses her seed money to ensure a sunny rally.

Hi Sara .. coincidence .. I was and am going to email you … to see what was cooking – but I note it is winter and the bareness of time.

Wonderful photo .. are they horsechestnuts? Fluffy bud protectors .. lovely. Nature has definitely been around longer than all of us and even before us … and I’m looking forward to her seed money bringing some much needed colour and light into our wet sodden land …

So good to see you here – cheers Hilary

That is a beautiful photograph! And your words are beautiful, too.

So glad to see you – I was just thinking about you. I wanted to call you to see if we could meet up around the Christmas holiday, but my sister in Monticello turned ill the weekend after the holiday, so I got myself back to Atlanta. 🙂

So good to see you back! And happy anniversary to you two! We are just beginning to see a huge snow storm here and already there are several inches on the ground! YIKES! Our neighbors are all young and are rallying to keep us old folks shoveled and safe. Glad to see you back!

So good to see you back at your blog, and making the rounds of visiting. Nature has indeed been at this for a long time. Speaking for human investors, I would like to see a sunny rally myself.

Great to see you back! I love when your photos and words pull our focus right back to what’s important, remind us to look beyond our timeless, seasonless screens and feel part of the unfolding seasons. We’ve both had cyber breaks, you and I, but seeing our blogging cycles in the context of nature puts it all into perspective. I started beating myself up less about my terrible blogging record when I started calling myself a deciduous blogger.

Talking of seeds and future blossoming, I actually have some draft and scheduled posts all ready to go at the moment – talk about the sublime to the ridiculous! – and there’s a tree quote I hope you’ll resonate with.

Really good to see you back; you’re one of those folk who embody the best spirit of community blogging!
